A Copper Bee quote is non-binding — you can cancel it any time before install day, no charge, no questions.
Before accepting the final quote
Just ignore it. We auto-archive unaccepted quotes after 30 days. You can also reply “Not pursuing this, thanks” or message us in your portal and we’ll mark it closed immediately.
After accepting, before install day
Message us in your portal or email info@copperbee.ca. As long as we haven’t ordered materials specifically for your job (we usually order day-of for stocked items, day-before for specialty), there’s no charge.
For pre-ordered specialty items (e.g. a 22kW Generac generator, a custom panel), we’ll let you know on acceptance whether materials are pre-ordered and what cancellation looks like. We won’t blindside you.
On install day
If we’ve arrived and started, a partial labour fee may apply for the time on-site. We’ll always explain it in writing first. This is rare — usually cancellations happen at least 24 hours before.
After install
The work is done at this point — if there’s a problem, that’s a refund or warranty claim, not a cancellation.
Will cancelling affect my account?
No. Cancelling a quote doesn’t close your account or affect future quotes. You can come back any time.
