Cancellation
policy.
Cancelling is free right up until we order the materials for your job. After that it costs 30% of the pre-tax subtotal, because by then we have bought parts for your home and paid for them.

Before you pay
Nothing
A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You can decline it, ask us to change the scope, or simply stop replying. Nothing is owed and no card is charged.
After you pay, before we order materials
Nothing
Paying accepts the quote and books the work, but we have not yet spent anything on your behalf. Request a cancellation from your account, or call us, and we will cancel the job and refund you in full.
After we order materials
30% of the pre-tax subtotal
By this point we have bought parts for your job and paid for them. Cancelling now costs the fee below. We tell you the day we place that order, and your account shows what cancelling would cost at any moment, so you always know which side of this line you are on.
The arithmetic
How the fee is worked out.
The fee is 30% of the pre-tax subtotal of your job — not 30% of the total you paid. You pay HST on top of the subtotal and we send every cent of it to the government, so we take no fee on that portion. Everything else goes back to the card or account you paid from.
Paid a deposit rather than the whole amount? The same fee applies, capped at what we hold: we keep 30% of the pre-tax price or your deposit, whichever is smaller, and return the rest of the deposit.

How to cancel
Talk to us.
Once you have paid, nothing cancels itself. Open your account and request a cancellation, or call us — either way a person handles it, and we tell you the exact fee and the exact refund before we charge anything. Your account shows both numbers before you ask.
