Sign-in code emails almost always land within a minute. When they don’t, here’s the diagnostic path.
Try this first
- Check spam, promotions, and updates folders. Especially for Gmail users — the first email from a sender often gets filed unexpectedly.
- Wait 90 seconds. Gmail in particular sometimes throttles new senders for the first few emails — subsequent ones are faster.
- Search your inbox for “copperbee”. The email may have arrived but stayed unread.
- Request a new code from the sign-in screen.
Mark us as “not spam”
If you found the email in spam, mark it “not spam” or move it to your inbox. Future Copper Bee emails will land normally.
Add our domain to your address book
Add quotes@copperbee.ca and orders@copperbee.ca to your contacts — those are the two addresses our email actually comes from. Solves it permanently for most Gmail / Outlook / iCloud users.
Check for typos in your email
Did you sign up with jane.mcallister@gmail.com but type jane.macallister@gmail.com at sign-in? Easy to do. Carefully re-type your email and try again.
Is your account email correct?
If you’re sure the address is right and codes still don’t arrive, your email server may be hard-rejecting our messages. Contact us at info@copperbee.ca from a different account — we can look up the email log on our side and tell you exactly what the inbox responded with.
Use Google sign-in as a fallback
If your Copper Bee account email is a Gmail address, you can sign in with Google instead of waiting for a code — click “Continue with Google” on the sign-in screen.
Still stuck?
Reach out with the email you’re trying to use. We’ll either find the issue on our end or manually verify the email for you.
