Pricing & Payment

How can I pay?

Every payment method we accept and which one is fastest, cheapest, and easiest for which size of job.

We accept the four payment methods most Ontario homeowners use. Each has trade-offs.

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)

Fastest. Pay through the secure link in your invoice email — processed by Stripe, takes about 30 seconds. We absorb the processing fees on residential transactions up to $7,500. Above that, a 2% surcharge applies to keep prices fair.

Interac e-Transfer

Free for you, free for us. Email transfers up to $3,000 in one go (most banks). Slower than card — usually arrives within minutes but can take up to a day. Send to info@copperbee.ca — your invoice carries the exact transfer details, including a security question if one is needed.

Bank transfer (EFT / wire)

Free for amounts above $3,000. We’ll send wiring instructions on your invoice. Cleared funds in 1–2 business days.

Cash or cheque

Accepted for jobs under $1,000. Cheques made out to “Copper Bee Electrical Inc.” Cash needs to be receipt-able — we’ll write you one on-site.

When is payment due?

After the work is done and signed off — not before. We invoice you in your portal the same day as install. Standard terms are 7 days. We don’t charge late fees on the first invoice but we do follow up if you’re overdue.

What if I want to pay in two parts?

For larger jobs ($3,000+) we’ll split the invoice into 50% on install day, 50% on ESA inspection sign-off — ask for it at acceptance time.

Is financing available?

Financing is currently paused while we set up new lender partners. See the financing article for the current status and when we expect it back.
